TPS62088: layout support

Part Number: TPS62088

Hello,

Can we please request for your help for the following inquiry? Posted on behalf of the customer/user as requested.

(1) We are in a design of a product using TPS62088. We have a question regarding the input routing of this buck converter from the Li-Ion Battery. We want to connect the TPS62088 via the Li-Ion Battery through a routing of width = 200um, thickness = 50um, and length = 20 mm, this routing is in the second (inner) layer. The buck converter is operating at 0.9V @ 3A output current, with L = 240 nH. Our use case of VIN = 2.4V -4.4V.  Can you guide us regarding the input routing of this TPS62088, as the routing will be highly dependent on the input current profile. May be a detailed email from one of the PCB layout engineers may help us.

(2) Also, can you confirm how much is the input parasitic inductance (from the input routing) we can afford without making this product in an unstable state or any performance degradation.

Thank you!
