BQ24092: Can battery getting disconnected from the charger be detected using CHG pin & OUT pin?

MY BQ24092 design has CHG pin connected to MCU & Battery voltage is monitored using ADC, CAN combination of these two be used to check if battery is connected or disconnected?

    Hello

    This may not be enough information.  If the CHG pin is LOW indicating charger the battery is present.  But if CHG is High Z is does not indicate no battery.

    If the battery voltage is measured with an ADC it may see voltage but this would be from the BQ24090 battery detect feature. see figure 22
