ULQ2003A: Let me ask you questions about ICEX of ULQ2003A and ULQ2004A.

Part Number: ULQ2003A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ULQ2004A,

Data sheet 7 pages 6.9 Electrical Characteristics: ULQ2003A and ULQ2004A

There is a notation;over recommended operating conditions (unless otherwise noted)

ULQ2003A ICEX is 100uA, what is the temperature range? -40~85℃?

If there is a full load, ULQ2004A is 85 ℃ 50uA but 70 ℃ 100uA

I am confused by the conflicting situation.

I want to know ULQ2003A's ICEX (Ta=25℃).

If you follow the notation in the data sheet, you are worried about the bad values in the ULQ200xA series

  • Hi Kojima-san,

The ICEX specification are the maximum values over the recommended operating temperature range unless specified in the test conditions on the datasheet.

Please refer to Figure 9 and Figure 10 to note the difference between the specification.

You will see that for the 50uA spec the Vin is left open.

For the 100uA spec, a voltage is forced on the input so that no input current flows into the device.
