Hi Support team 

LM74700-Q1 anode short to GND, any side effect on VG pin, since VG voltage is Anode Voltage + charge pump voltage, should be higher than 15V max rating

    Hi Red,

    When input short (anode short) is applied on LM74700-Q1, VG is turned off (pulled to anode voltage). 

    VG voltage will follow anode and will not violate 15V absolute maximum specification.

    This is captured in the first page of the datasheet figure named "Reverse Current Blocking During Input Short", where gate voltage is turned off and shorted to anode (VBATT).
