BQ76PL455A-Q1: Error in Unlatching fault bit of 0x0e register

This setting only applies to some fault registers. See 7.3.12.4 Fault Latching section for details.

The UNLATCHED_FAULT bit should only be changed while no fault bits are set (= 1). The
latched/unlatched status of fault bits is undefined when the UNLATCHED_FAULT bit is changed while a
fault bit = 1.

I HAVE CHECKED WITH ALL THE CONDITIONS AND I AM WRITING THE   UNLATCHED_FAULT BIT ONLY WHEN THERE IS NO FAULT IN THE FAULT REGISTER AND THE FAULT_N PIN GIVES 5V LOGIC. EVEN THEN, WHEN I WRITE 0x0E REGISTER TO 0x01 THEN FAULT OCCURS

Can you let us know your cell voltage and comparator settings?

That can explain the situation.

if your cell voltage and comparator settings are same( within spec) then fault can be occur or not with Unlatched mode.

Give us some data then we can explain more detail.

I am using Nucleo STM 32f103rb to program the BMS IC bq76pl455a and I have programmed it to give all the cell voltages and aux values.
