Hello,

I am using bqstudio tool to check current,voltage,temperature and soc of Li-ion battery.I successfully read the current,voltage and temperature but unable to read soc.The bqstudio always shows 0% soc.Is there any configuration needed for the soc? Please give me your suggestions.

Hello Mohan,

Make sure IT is enabled. Refer to both the TRM for standard commands and the EVM user's guide.

Thanks for your response sir, I read the technical reference manual of bqstudio but not getting any clear idea about how to make IT enabled.So please can you explain it shortly? please sir.

Hi Mohan,

Could you go to Register Window, click the Refresh button on the top and then share with me a screenshot of the Bit Registers?

Hello Mohan,

Just search for the term Gauge_EN on the TRM it will take you to the right section.

Hello Mohan,

Please take a look at the Commands Tab on the left side and find a button called "GAUGEN_EN". Click this button and the Refresh button as well.

You can find the details on Page 95 of BQ40z50 TRM.
