Hi,

Customers are considering batteries with the following specifications.
・charge voltage : 3.7V
・charge current : ～100mA
・Input voltage : 5V (by earphone cradle or case)
・40mAh cell
・2 parallel (80mAh)

Could you tell me the recommended parallel batteries charging IC and design example?

Customers have the following concerns about parallel use of batteries:
・Protection when one side of the battery comes off
・How to care for battery variations

Please introduce the best charging solution

    Hi Yusuke-san,

    We assume that the batteries will always be attached, age similarly and self balance.  I am not aware of any special connection procedure or device.  I recommend BQ25100 family for simple charging or BQ25150 for more features.
