BQ25713: VAP operation

Hello,

Our customer asked about how VAP mode is operating. When I checked in the datasheet 9.3.2, this function is charging to VBUS capacitor from battery and the charged energy supply to the system for supporting system load current in order to keep VSYS voltage.

Is my understanding correct?

Hi There,

Your understanding is correct. This feature is mainly defined for Intel notebook customer to support newest Intel Icelake CPU fast system transient demand under battery only condition.
