EMB1499Q: behavior

We are developing a new board with EMB1428+1499, previously we have evaluated with an evm1402.

Our board has the same schematic and parts of the EVM, the PCB layout is very very similar. But EMB1499 is having trouble working ...

I found this waveforms for EN (violet), GATE LS (Yellow), PWM_CLAMP (green) - charge direction

and this for for EN (violet), GATE HS1 (Yellow), GATE HS2 (green) - charge direction too

any idea?

Hi Massimo,

I strongly suggest you to review the schematic again.

Please Compare with TI evm schematic and let us know. Check the GND and PWR.

I would also look at the grounding of your layout.

Thanks a lot for the tip.

we had verified, but not enough, by checking again I found that R7-R8 were mounted with incorrect value 5.1k and not 5.1 ohm.

Schematic and bom are right

Now run.
