TPS54531: pin designation

Part Number: TPS54531

The datasheet shows a dot in one corner of the SOIC-8 top face to designate the pin. But the part I received has a bar across the top with some descriptive numbers on the top. How can I tell the correct pin?

It looks like if you look at the face of the chip with the bar at the top, the left end of the bar is the same as the dot; is this correct?
