BQ25120A: Register issue

Hi team,

We use BQ25120A in our design, we meet some question.

1. we read the status and ship mode control register during charging , the register hints the status is ready not charging.

2.We close the safety timer limit in VIN_DPM and Timers Register, after charging for long time, device enters into default mode, and the output voltage is 1.8V . we try to communicate on I2C ,but fail until we take off the battery.

We are confused on this problem. Would you pls give us some recommendation on this issue.

Can you please share your schematic. What was the state of /CD pin when the issue occurred and was VIN present?

For second question,Vin is 5V./CD is high.

Hello,

Can you post a register dump so i can see what the device settings are when the issue occurs.

What voltage are the I2C lines pulled up to? and what voltage rail powers the MCU?
