TPS92641: Support high power application

Hi Team,

My customer is surveying TPS92641 and wondering can it support below condition.

Vin = 24V

LED Vf = 2.95V

Iout =30A

Besides, by controlling UDIM is it possible to increase current from 0A to 30A within 50uS?

    Hello Vincent,

    Yes, this can be done, please look at PMP8016, it is a 20A design.  The MOSFET choice is important to prevent shoot through and false tripping of the upper MOSFET drive protection.

    UDIM can respond this fast by UDIM if it is being PWM dimmed.  The TPS92641 has a comp hold when UDIM is low so it can return to it's previous current quickly.
