USB-TO-GPIO: NO USB ADAPTER FOUND!

Part Number: USB-TO-GPIO

For guidance, use the USB-TO-GPIO EVM to connect to the computer and use the software of function digital power designer.Later, colleagues used it to download the program. When they used it again, the device could not be identified when plugged in to the computer, and the green light on the adapter was not on. Later, they installed the driver sllc160a downloaded on the official website. This software can only be installed on XP system, USB-TO-GPIO EVM can only be identified on XP computer, the green light is on, then connect to the function digital power designer software, always prompt no USB adapter found! If you want to download the firmware, use the firmware upgrade software usb-to-gpio firmware loader setup, prompt that you can't connect, and you can't find the device.

Asking for help,thank you!

  • Hi,

What devices / applications / software you try to work with the USB-To-GPIO?

  • Hi,

Design of digital power supply with reference to Xilinx's vc709 development board,

I want to use the FUSION DIGITAL POWER DESIGNER software to  debug the UCD9248.

I've used this device USB-TO-GPIO several times,it is OK. Suddenly , the green led is off.

then I asked help from TI.

  • Hi,

Can you provide the firmware program of USB-TO-GPIO  for me?  I want the .bin or .hex  file.

    THANKS

  • Hi,

If you don't see the green led on, unplug the adapter, wait a few seconds and reconnect it to the PC. Try a few times. If green led still not on, try another USB port.

Once the green LED is on, you can download the USB-To-GPIO firmware from Fusion GUI:

    • From Start menu, go to Fusion Digital Power Designer -> USB Adapter Firmware Download Tool
    • Select embedded USB adapter firmware: it is recommended you use firmware version 1.0.13. However, you can choose any version, it should work with UCD9248 device (see screenshot below)

  • Hi,

Now the problem is that the green light is on, and it can be identified in the computer manager, that is, the software can't be connected, so I doubt if there is something wrong with the hardware on the USB-TO-GPIO board, or the driver is wrong, because this downloader can only be identified in XP PC.

    THANKS a lot !
