BQ28Z610: Max Sense Resistor Value

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows two different max Rsense values (10mOhm on page 1 simplified schematic and 3mOhm in figure 21). Which is the correct max value?

Hello Michael,

It should be governed by the max SRN and SRP. We have customers that have used 10 mOhms before so I'm not too worried.

The EC table specifies the max SRN and SRP voltage the device can handle, so I would go by that and the max IR drop across the sense resistor for their system. There is not really a max value. We recommend 1-5 mOhms.
