Hello,
I am confused about the VIH/VIL specs given in the datasheet for the Enable input.
VIH is given as 0.9V min and 0.65V typical. How can the 0.65V typ level be less than the 0.9V min level? If VIH = 0.9V min = the minimum level required to enable the device, then what does the 0.65V typical spec mean? Does this mean that these devices will typically be enabled with a voltage of only 0.65V on the Enable input, but that 0.9V is required to guarantee a logic 'High' across all devices?
Similarly the VIL spec is given as 0.3V max and 0.45V typical. Does this mean that these devices will typically be disabled with 0.45V on the Enable input, but that 0.3V (or less) is required to guarantee a Low across all devices?
Please explain.
Thanks, Ted
