Hi,

Does the package of LMG1020 require cleaning?

According to following the application note, it seems to depend on flux type.

How about this package?

    Hi Kuramochi,

    Thanks for reaching out on e2e about LMG1020.

    The reason for this SMT flux consideration is because some flux can affect the performance of fine pitched components.

    So we tend to use flux that can be easily cleaned (water soluble) or flux that needs no cleaning at all (no-clean).

    Cleaning can be as simple as using a brush with alcohol and as extensive as warm water ultrasonic cleaning solutions.

    Depending on the flux you use, depends on if cleaning is required.
