i'm trying to use the BQ2980 as follow:the output is less then should be , have you seen that kind of an issue before ? can you direct me to the cause ?

Hi Tal,
Is this a 1S4P application? I recommend checking the voltage on the CHG and DSG pins. If either of these are off, check Table 1 in the datasheet to see if there are any fault conditions that explain why either of the FETs may be turning off. If the FETs are both enabled, the output should show the same voltage as your battery input.
