it is not entirely clear in the documentation if there are any obstacles to do the following:
- parallel more than two devices
- use a external clock source at RT/CLK and control them to perform any phase shift between them

Per datasheet p.17, it is possible to parallel up to 6x LMZ31710.
To my knowledge, bench testing has been done with parallel devices with effective 2 phases, for example for a 4x parallel configuration, having device 1 and 3 switching together and device 2 and 4 both switching 180 degrees out of phase relative to device 1 and 3. That being said, I do not see any issue with externally clocking each device to set each device out of phase, for example, to achieve true 4-phase 4x devices in parallel with devices switching at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees.
