UCC28180: The application of UCC28180

Part Number: UCC28180

According to the description, the UCC28180 is a flexible and easy-to-use, 8-pin,active Power-Factor Correction (PFC) controller that operates under Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) to achieve high Power Factor, low current distortion and excellent voltage regulation of boost preregulators in AC - DC front-ends.

But I want to know whether it is suitable  for the following occasions.

The input voltage is 32V-80VDC,and the output is 82VDC,the full power is 120W.The current debugging results show that it cannot be stabilized in the full intput  range. So it means that UCC28180 is inappropriate  for the application environment?
