TPS61291: Booster operation

In one of my projects, I am using buck boost converter from TI # TPS61291.

My power supply voltage is below 2.7V & When I am going to enable boost mode by giving high to enable pin through GPIO (from controller). Its not going in boost mode.

But when we are giving externally high to EN pin of TPS61291 then its working fine. I have follow the schematic & layout as per datasheet.

Hi Manish:

Some GPIO need to configure the I/O output capability, or should use the pull up resistance. Otherwise it may not able to ensure the En pin high.

It's better to check the voltage of EN pin with scope.

Hi Minqiu,

Controller GPIO has output capability. Its going high during booster mode. But my board is going to reboot/unable to do boost while my input voltage is going below 2.7V.

I have already checked GPIO high/low functionality on board. Its working fine from controller side.

May you share the waveform of the EN pin? Better together with Vin, EN, SW, Vout?
