Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering charger for NiMH 6cells.

I found the thread, BQ2000 and BQ24401 were introduced.

 On the other hand, it was 10 years ago, could you please offer new device.

Recommended device is remain the same?

In addition, if there are reference circuit, could you please let me know.

    Hi Shinichi,

    We do not have newer, dedicated NiMH chargers so the chargers that you have already found are the best alternatives for high current, fast charging (i.e. ICHG>0.5C). Alternatively, if charge termination via dT/dt or dV/dt can be handled by a processor with ADC, then you can use any of our chargers with adjustable battery regulation voltage (i.e. BQ24125, BQ24133).  Also, if charge current is < 0.5C, it is generally acceptable to terminate using only a timer, which would allow those same adjustable chargers with adjustable charge timers to be used.

    If one of the options above works, please reply with input voltage and charge current and I will narrow down the recommendation.
