TPS65950/30/20 :- Is Register Access possible if HFCLKIN does not stop due to DBB bug?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65950

Q:  Once CLKEN (output of TPS65950/30/20) goes LOW, HFCLKIN ( from DBB) should cut OFF and HFCLKOUT ( from TPS to OMAP) will also cut off. Incase HFCLKIN does NOT cut off ( may be due to a DBB Bug ) and continues to appear, can we still have register access in TPS65950/30/20 ? Will HFCLKOUT be proper and sent to OMAP?

A:  NO. Internally CLKEN is an “Enable” to the  Analog Slicer and once CLKEN goes LOW, it cuts off HFCLKOUT and hence no register access nor will the OMAP receive any CLK  even if HFCLKIN continues to appear.
