Hello,

can someone explaine me why the IC is closing the mosfet only on first pulse? it should close when

vin-vout >250mv correct?

if you measure on the 2nd pulse there are 500mv so this means the mosfet is not closed and also st pin remains low.

if i change the load to 7.2OHm then it seems to work properly

Hello Alberto,

I think the issue you are seeing is an issue with the SPICE model. I will report this to the proper team and get it fixed.

Your understanding is correct. The important thing to note here is that when the CE pin is lower than the VIN pin by a number of 250mv the device will turn on so there seems to be something up with the model if it does not open in this instance.
