Manoj, Dead time is when both switches are off in a half bridge to prevent shoot thru.

We have some parts that automatically add dead-time for you. For example, UCC21520. See section "8.4.2.2 DT Pin Left Open or Connected to a Programming Resistor between DT and GND Pins" for more information on this feature.
