Customer is using independent charging of the NiMH cells developed by third party,
This effectively means that the charging is being managed by the system CPU and the BQ34110 is not required to charge the batteries, it is just being used to monitor the charge and usage status of the batteries and allow testing for end-of-life of the batteries.
Is it possible to disable the charging facility of the BQ34110 by setting a register?
