Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hello,
we are using your part for a 12V to 0.85V DC supply. The design is expect to consume between 10 and 20 Amperes at 0.85V. My question is about the web bench output capacitance. The tool is showing the circuit needs 2.6 mF or 6.6 mF depending on if the devices are an electrolytic or ceramic composition. Is this correct, milli Farad? It seems at least an order of magnitude greater. For example, the datasheet Figure 8.2.1 shows 4 x 100uF ceramics.
