Hi team,
A customer asks a generic question about failure cases.
When buck converter is damaged, is there any case in which VIN is shorted to Vout? Otherwise, are VIN and VOUT completely insulated?
Thanks,
Sam Lee

Hello Sam,
In case of High-Side FET damage, there is a definite possibility of having VIN shorted to VOUT.
