Hello
I have a question about TLV713P.

See the attachment for details.
Thank you.

  • Hi Ishii-san,

Considering the 100uF output capacitor the application has, 350mA seems to be reasonable. Here is an app note that discusses ways to control the in-rush. In the app note, http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva670a/slva670a.pdf, Figure 4 shows an example of an LDO without in-rush control, with 100uF, the in-rush is as high as 6.4A.

The current limit of this device could be over 300mA, having a peak current at 350mA for a short period of time will not damage the device. However, constantly running the device at the current limit may reduce the reliability of the device.
