Hi support team!

We need to update the chemistry on several batteries with bq20z453 v1.16 as Gas Gauge. And found bqEVSW does not have configuration profile for this IC.

Can you please provide us with bq20z453_1_16.encr file to complete the task.

Hi Igor,

As far as I know, bq20z453 is a custom device for Samsung. We cannot release the bq20z453_1_16.encr file in public.

Hi Andy!

Yes, we need to update a chemistry on lot of Samsung batteries for our exclusive customer.

The bq20z453 line is now marked as NRND and no more produced. Customer could not settle this question with Pack Maker for same reason.

PCB is designed for bq20z453 so we could not replace it with newer generation Gas Gauge.

The only way to fix the batteries is to update chemistry profile on existing ICs.

If configuration file could not be shared public could we shift this discussion offline?
