Hi,

For the BQ4050 and the BQ40z50, what are the programmable step sizes of the following?

Overvoltage
Undervoltage
Overcurrent charge
Overcurrent discharge
Overtemperature charge
Overtemperature discharge
Undertemperature charge
Undertemperature discharge

e.g. BQ2980 lists some of them on page 8 of its datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/bq2980.pdf#page=8)

The programmable step size is 1.

Dan,

Everything above is a Firmware based protection. The step size is 1 of whatever the base unit is. So for over voltage for example it will be 1mV. Undertemp will be 1 degC.

I recommend connecting our EVM and looking though the data memory. These questions will be very easily answered.
