LM5175: LM5175 connectivity and reference design

Thank you for considering the LM5175.  It is mainly caused by the software used to generate the report.  Wehench itself has better schematic view, and you can cross check with Webench.  Also we have example schematic in the LM5175 EVM and also in the LM5175 datasheet.  Those drawings are more clear to tell the corrected connection.  Please refer to those drawings.  In case you want to be certain, please send your version of schematic to us (post here at e2e) and we can review for you.

Hi Tzachi,

Your circuit connections look right.  Can you consider the LM5176 instead?  It is basically pin to pin compatible with the LM5175 except for (1) RT resistor value (R9) needs to be adjusted to 23.7k, and (2) if your input can reach 40V or higher, you need to insert a series resistor of 2k between the input line and VISNS pin.  The rest circuit can remain the same. 

The reason that I recommend the LM5176 is because the LM5176 is our newer device, having better some tweak inside to offer better performances.
