Hello Team,

a customer is doing a monte-carlo analysis using LM4040NC2P5 spice model in simetrix.

Apparently, a change of the tolerance value to 0.5% or variation in temperature do not have any influence on the results.

Is this not represented in the model?

Hi David,

I am unsure on how the model behaves in simetrix.

In TINA-TI the model does have temp behavior as shown in the image below. TINA-TI does not have monte carlo analysis so i am unsure if this ability will exists in simetrix.

Just to make sure: Are there actually differences between A to E-Grade models (or just changing the tolerance value) when using the models in TINA-TI?

Hi David,

That would be correct. The model is the same for both variants because we set the Cathode voltage to have no accuracy error. If you have a way to change the tolerance, then that would be a good way to separating the model into different variants A to E.
