We have been using the BQ20862 Evaluation Software on an XP machine to talk to our EV2300 in order to test our pack manager. I have to migrate our production test to a windows 7 PC and soon to a windows 10 PC. I installed the EV2300a_Device_Driver_Installer_Multilanguage_0.6 on my Win7 PC and connected the EV2300 with no issues. My current 20862 evaluation software is 1.9.0.0 (2005).

I would appreciate if anyone on the forum could give me a copy.

Please work with your TI local rep. E2E cannot be used for custom FW.

Kang,

I believe the forum is where one comes for help. The local reps are usually sales folks and they always in my case serve as intermediaries (I ask them a question, they contact you, you get them the answer and they then contact me with your response). Like I said in my original posting, this problem was solved here on this forum by Miguel Angel Rios, by providing the file privately. When I ran into the driver issue for Windows7, I turned to the forum for help. I downloaded the appropriate file and solved my driver issue. Why is this case any different? Was the solution posted here a violation of your policy?

Are you saying that this is a new policy from E2E, for you guys to not help solve such problems here on the forum?

Hello Moses,

We found this thread in the past. Technically we cannot share custom software on the E2E forums by posting directly.

The thread you mentioned handled it offline and the person posting is a TI rep.
