EV2400: EV2400

Part Number: EV2400
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO,

Hello,

it is impossible for me to buy EV2400, and so I am thinking about reproducing it by myself.

The schematics seems quite simple, and also the PCB layout is provided in the document http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluu446c/sluu446c.pdf .

The only concern I have is flashing the firmware. The document says that the firmware tool will detect a connected device, it's version, and then provide the upgrade option.

My question is: shall the upgrade tool work with a "clean" device ?

Thanks a lot for your answer.

  • Hi Ngo,

We don't suggest customers create their own tool to replace EV2400 since it has been well tested by many customers.  We recommend that customers always use TI EVM + EV2400 + bqStudio.

Regarding your question, you have to try by youself.
