Hi,

My customer plan to use TPS1HA08-Q1 on 24Vrail (not automotive battery).

 It is descripted in the datasheet as below,

VBB, extended operating range: up to 28V

*note, Device will function within extended operating range, however some parametric values might not apply

 

Which parameters do not apply?

The test condition is up to 18V. So, I think, the guaranteed value is unknown .

Could you please give me your estimated values at 24V operation?

    Hello Muk,

    The main difference with the extended voltage ranges the  short-to-ground protection is not guaranteed to be reliable.  In instances where the output is suddenly shorted to ground the device is not guaranteed to survive. Other than that- current limit, current sense, and RON are all going to behave as described in the datasheet.
