TPS23754: Using for non PoE application

Hello,

Our customer is interested in TPS23754 as well as UCC2897A for 24V IN/5V@5A OUT active clamp forward converter.
This is not PoE application, but is just general purpose.

My question is that is there any problem to use TPS23754 for non PoE application?

    Hello Oba,

    Thank you for your question. There is no problem using the TPS23754 for a non-PoE application. The part has the PD which handles the PoE handshaking, and it has the DC-DC controller integrated. It is no problem using only the DC-DC controller.
