UCD9248: Linux support to monitor power drawn by core unit in Virtex7 Evaluation board

Hello TI team,

I would like to check if there's any tool to perform power measurement on VC709 Evaluation board (xc7vx690t) in Linux ? I found TI Fusion Digital Power Designer GUI, however, it only support Windows.

If no support is present for linux, then even linux commands should also be fine because as I understood from the board design, we need to communicate with UCD9248 IC through PMBus to query voltage and current status.

Hi, Shubham,

Unfortunately, I don't know if we have any tool supporting Linux. However, Fusion GUI supports Command Line. See you you can use it. You can read more about Fusion Command LIne Tool in Help menu.

Hello,

I would like to mention that installation file of Fusion Digital Power Design GUI tool, available on TI website, only provide support for Windows OS. However, I am using linux machine. So, unless I install the Fusion tool in linux, I won't be able to use command line tool. So, please provide direction to install "Fusion Digital Power design GUI" tool for linux (centos) machine.

Sorry, but Fusion GUI supports only Window OS.
