Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25940
Hi
I have a 3V3 microcontroller (xmc4300) that writes data in an external flash memory but this flash has a too short writing time life. The idea is to write data in the flash only when main supply goes off.
I thought a supercapacitor (~1F) which is used as backup supply when the external supply is disconnected so the uC has enough time to save data (~4s).
I found TPS25940 with a paper (eFuse solution to charge a supercap). But I don't understand if is possible charging supercap with 3V3 or 5V. Could you help me?
Vin is 5V to LDO and then 3V3 to the uC
