Hi All,
My customer wants to use the boost to supply power from a super cap. The output of the boost will supply the load. the boost output will be set to 2.3v to keep the load alive. There will also be a diode from a 3.3v supply to power the load. So when in normal operation the 3.3v will source the load, when the 3,3v fails, the 2.3v from the boost will source the load. the question is, if the boost is disables and there is now 3.3v(minus a diode drop) on the output of the boost, will the boost disconnect from the output and not sink any current? This is a power critical application.
