TPS2660: Reverse current blocking

I have a question on reverse current blocking capability of TPS26601. When there's reverse current where Vin-Vout < -10mV, the internal FET will turns off after 1.5us and the ~FLT signal will be low after 45ms. Will the ~SHDN pin also goes low or remains high? Will the part turn on again after 70us when the differential voltage Vin-Vout > 96mV? I am asking this because I saw a reverse current after a current spike and the reverse current last for about 40us in my application and the part does not seem to turn on again and I also see the ~SHDN pin is pulled low forever (FYI, I set the part to be on latch mode when overcurrent detected)

    After the reverse current condition VIN-VOUT < -10mV, device should turn off internal FET. Under this condition SHDN should remain high. Deice should recover when reverse current condition is removed. That is when (VIN-VOUT)> 110mV.

    You said you are seeing reverse current after current spike on TPS26601. Is this current spike big enough to trigger device current limit? If yes then device is detecting over current condition and latching off. In this case you need to either toggle SHDN pin or power recycle the device to resume its operation.

    I recommend looking at input voltage, output voltage, input current and FLT pin status around current spike event. That should give you visibility if device is going into over current detection.
