BQ40Z50-R2: Before going to mass production with bq40z50

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EV2400, BQSTUDIO

Hi

After doing some test with bq40z50EVM  I should be ready to configure my new board (as soon as it will be ready).

Question n1

As far as I understood I should upload my working and tested configuration into a file  (gg.csv or alternatively the .srec

which include the fw too) for a later download into the new board

Before doing that, some parameters need to be changed right? I'm referrring to: CC auto Config[OFFSET_TAKEN]

(must be cleared) and CC Auto Offset (cleared too) LIFE_EN = 0.  I also read that even FET_ON and GAUGE_EN

should be cleared before saving into the gg.csv.

My question is: OK for the offsets but why  clear FET_ON and GAUGE_EN if I want them to be enabled by default in my new board?

Question n2

With the new board, I should proceed with a calibration first  (with the help of bqstudio and ev2400 to speed up

the process, for example ), then download the .gg.cvs file and select the chemistry (BTW wouldn't be faster to download just the srec?)

and then I should be ready because if I didn't clear GAUGE_EN and FET_ON they should already be set?

Am I right thinking so?

Many Thanks
