TPS22918: TPS22918 VIN and VON power on sequence

Hello team,

I have a question about VIN and ON power on sequence.
I would like the following power on sequence.

1. ON pin 0V->3.3V (VIN=0V)
2. VIN pin 0V->3.3V

Is above acceptable of TPS22918? I am considering to use this sequence although It is not recommended operation range. Is it correct?

If this power on sequence is not acceptable, would you please tell me the recommended other power switch ICs?

Your advise would be so appreciated.

Tamazaki-san,

The sequence you mentioned about having ON asserted high and then applying voltage will absolutely work, however the soft start will not take effect in this scenario. Essentially whatever signal is in the input of the IN pin will be routed to the output without any configured slew rate from the CT pin. I did measurement in the lab on the TPS22918EVM to illustrate this:
