Hi Team,

Is the charge voltage of SS terminal (soft start terminal) min. 0.7V ~ typ.1V ~ max. 1.3V including temperature variation?

Also, would you like to have a temperature characteristic graph of SS terminal voltage?

I would like to know the delay time of internal operation from input to output.

Hi Kenji,

According to datasheet, minimum and maximum limits of COMP to PWM Offset apply over the operating junction temperature range (–40°C to 125°C).

I do not have this data and will check design team. May I know why you are concerning on it standing on application perspective? Can you also confirm the part number? Is it LM5025 or LM5025A?

Hi Frank,

The device is LM5025MTCX.

My customer is examining the delay time between the input of the power supply and the rise of the output.

The operating time of the IC will largely depend on the variation in the charging voltage and current of the SS pin.

Therefore, if there is a temperature characteristic graph, my customers can consider the temperature specification of the product.

Hi Kenji,

Can you confirm what parameter you were asking for?

In the datasheet of LM5025MTCX, the 0.7V ~ typ.1V ~ max. 1.3V is corresponding to COMP to PWM offset rather than a parameter of SS.

But the offset between COMP and PWM does not have obvious impact on the power on delay of PSU.

Therefore, please confirm the specified item in your customer's interest.
