BQ25713: default charge current

Hello,

Our customer asked about charge current at I2C register default condition. Could you reply the charge current soon after bq25713 power up from POR.

when I checked on the datasheet, it seems like battery voltage condition. if battery voltage is lower than 1.024V, flowing 128mA charge current to the battery. If the battery voltage is higher than 1.024V, zero charge current flows.

Is my understanding correct.

Hey Toshiro,

This function is based entirely on the AUTO_WAKEUP_EN bit in the ChargeOption2() register. Please refer to the bit description.

By default, the AUTO_WAKEUP_EN bit is enabled which forces 128mA into the battery if VSRN is < the MinimumSystemVoltage() register setting. After either VSRN reaches VSYSMIN or after a 30min timeout, charging will be disabled by setting the ChargeCurrent() register to 0mA.
