Hello,

We are using 232Kohm resistor and measuring close to 485-500KHz(from sample to sample- across 800-1000 samples) till now.

We have referred to the equation given for switching frequency calculation based on the RT but I don’t see such a big variation factored in there.

I was going through the datasheet and found huge variation mentioned without much details on the boundary conditions.

We have sent a mail regarding this, but didn't get any reply.

Hi,

The variation of 485-500KHz is normal. It's caused by resistor's accuracy, temperature and internal accuracy of converter.

But how there is a huge range for 200kohm as mentioned in the data sheet and not for 232k which we have used?

Is it possible to share the calculation (Min, typ and max) for 232K ohm with 1% tolerance ?

Hi,

On datasheet I think the range is because of wide junction temperature range (-40 to 150°C). And the data is not by calculation but tests. I think you just have the good test finding the range of 485-500kHz. The result is very reasonable.
