BQ33100: Question on BQ33100EVM and SMBUS - Does it support 3kF supercaps?

Hi,

I have an application of Supercapacitor power bank using 5 supercapacitors value of 3kF in series.

I'm planning to use components BQ33100 and BQ24640 for my charger and balancer.

I have two questions on them:

1) Can those ICs support high-value supercaps of 3kF?

2) BQ33100 is recommended to work among SMBUS EV2300 in order to view the data and status of balancer.

By the way, does I2R (I square R) from BQ33100 gives the same data that EV2300 do? If not, exactly what kind of data can it give?

    1) The max value the gauge can support is 655F. 

    2) The max communication speed is 100khz
