LM76003: LM76003 current limit

Hello team,

I am considering to use LM76003 as the following condition.
 
   Vin= 24V
   Vout = 12V  max3.5A

I am concerned with LM76003 current limit value of Low side because min value is 3.4A. Is it possible to use LM76003 above condition?

    Hi,

    It's low-side current limit and it means as long as you have a valley inductor current below 3.4A, it's OK. When you have a 3.5A load, it mean the average inductor current is 3.5A and if your inductor is not very large, the valley will be less than 3.4A.
