Output reverse polarity protection

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a power supply 3KW (output 12V 250A typically), with a dubbler current rectifier topology.

i have remarqued that if the output battery is reversed, all the diode and inductance will be dammaged.

could you please help me with any topology, configuration or IC that may prevent the output reverse polarity while taking into consideration Iout= 250A?

The E2E forum is intended to support questions relating to TI part numbers, Issume you are using a TI controller for this design?

Is it possible to provide the protection by using a ploariised connector to the battery?

i'm asking if there is any IC from TI that may help for this issue, rather than the mechanical solution with the connectors.
