UCC21530: I'm having trouble simulating the output of the inverter Tina TI

Part Number:

Hi,

I simulated inverter circuit with SPWM technique in TINA-TI.

VGS3 is not the desired output, can you please look into it.

And is what is happeing with vout.

Iam attaching related images and files required.

A quick reply would be appreciable.

thank you.

  • and please check the current in load it should be a symmetrical sinusoidal wave. 6765.inverter.TSC

  • Hi Poorna,

Thank you for your question. I work on the applications team in the high power drivers group.

I'd first choose a stronger bootstrap diode (D6 and D3). 100V breakdown voltage is not sufficient for the 100V bus voltage you are trying to simulate. Using the 1200V SiC FETs without negative turn off voltage may be causing miller induced noise that adversely affects your waveform. I'd suggest using lower voltage FETs with a lower bus voltage in addition to the stronger bootstrap diode for better results.

    Thank you and best regards,
