Hi Team,
When not connected to battery, it is ok use buck to connect to BTST to power the system ?
In the PCB Layout, how wide PCB line does the mosfet D pole need? (xxmile?)
How to improve thermal problem when using BQ24610?
Thanks!

Hi Amelie,
How do you plan on switching control from buck converter output (when battery not present), to disconnecting buck when battery is present? In this application can SYSTEM be powered directly by adapter? BQ24610 has direct powerpath feature, meaning that when adapter is present, SYSTEM is powered by adapter, and when battery is present, system is powered by battery.
Do you have more information on a system level what customer is trying to achieve? I am assuming that there is a possibility where both adapter and battery is absent, but SYSTEM rail is still required to be powered and cannot drop.
